Whoa!

I shut down the NAS, router and wifi when our storm started. We were just sitting down to dinner, so it wasn't like we needed any of it for a while. :)
Yes, I live in a tornado prone area too that has severe torrential summer downpours with the usual lightning and thunder. I must purchase a uninterruptible power supply (UPS)for my pooder desk ASAP.

Hi Frans, Alessandro:

This wants to be a quick follow up of the exchange we had within the Totaldac d1-six DAC thread ...
As I shot abt. 1,000 pics per year with my Pentax/Tamron kit and most of them go thru some very quick editing with GIMP (rotation/crop and auto-balance essentially), this is the edited version I would have retained vs. the one used by the manufacturers in their website ...

Graz
Looks like a most wonderful Town/City (I know that it has something like 43 actual residents) but, unlike so many Cities that destroy the beauty around them, it has FORCIBLY reached a limit of expansion. (I think they own about 900 acres on the shore side of the stay, not much in the grand scheme of things).
I wish cities like Charleston, SC (who said that they where going to have a green zone around the city which the City would not expand out of. Now they are at my doorstep, (on the waters edge of a Barrier Island (James Island) across the harbor. They have managed to incorporate most of the islands interior and all of the Islands businesses (hence anything that we buy on our Island [food, anything] we pay an extra tax to the City. As much as I hate things from the internet (usually don't fit right, etc, I will 99.99% of the time drive to outside the City limits (30-45 minutes) or order on line (so far, avoids the City tax).
I live on the deep water and dread the City.
This was a beautiful, mostly natural, unincorporated area when my family moved out of the city to here when I was 4 years old.
Due to what this city has done, I hope to one day move far enough away from any city that none will encroach on me in my lifetime.

Moved two 20 ton traverse cranes from on set of tracks to one adjacent. Then caught the morning sun and thought of something in between stone henge and LOTR :D

Not quite a rainbow but it was at this moment we knew our dog was the chosen one :)

The speed of light has caught up with your greyhound, fit new Duracell bunny batteries and he’ll be good as new

There is a problem, I can't post a picture.
Crowdstrike issue? (not being entirely facetious)

Did you get this sorted out, @nobodynoz ?

Most things can be captured by a screenshot and pasted directly.

The 'insert image' glyph on the toolbar will work with a file or a URL, although there are file size (and, probably also image resolution) limits.
The forum s/w won't post a .webp image directly - I "filter" them through PowerPoint (not that I would exactly encourage anyone to adopt my workaround* ;) ).
I also like image hosting services -- I use Flickr, but there are of course numerous other options.

Cool! A rainbow. Now there will be 2 years of peace according to Noah I believe it is. That would be excellent for sure but alas we are savages in ways.
