Most things can be captured by a screenshot and pasted directly.

The 'insert image' glyph on the toolbar will work with a file or a URL, although there are file size (and, probably also image resolution) limits.
The forum s/w won't post a .webp image directly - I "filter" them through PowerPoint (not that I would exactly encourage anyone to adopt my workaround* ).
I also like image hosting services -- I use Flickr, but there are of course numerous other options.
