Most things can be captured by a screenshot and pasted directly.

The 'insert image' glyph on the toolbar will work with a file or a URL, although there are file size (and, probably also image resolution) limits.
The forum s/w won't post a .webp image directly - I "filter" them through PowerPoint (not that I would exactly encourage anyone to adopt my workaround* ;) ).
I also like image hosting services -- I use Flickr, but there are of course numerous other options.

Cool! A rainbow. Now there will be 2 years of peace according to Noah I believe it is. That would be excellent for sure but alas we are savages in ways.
 
Cryptotympana facialis in our garden early this morning just after its "emerging"; it (I do not know the gender) was still drying its amazingly beautiful transparent-green wings to prepare for fly-away under the morning sunshine.
