Typhoon Gaemi approaching Taiwan. The strong counter-clock structures should cause heavy rain on the north west coasts of the island.
Mountain and coastal region may suffer more.
Most people in urban area will stay home for 1~3 days and enjoy the quick meals from convenient stores.

Doodski : You live in Canada.... I've spent 5 months in Montreal, winter included ... temperature dropped to -38 celsius. Then I've left Canada and went with my wife to Boca Raton, Florida. We stayed 2 years there.

Big fat whistlepig/marmot/woodchuck/groundhog chowin' down on white clover (could be worse).

We have a family of those at work-the babies are about half grown and run around w/o their Mother.

not long ago he wasn't there... he's still finishing but he's too busy going to eat those "poor things" that stick to the part of the web that's already built... obviously we leave him, in my area we say "spider profit"...

we call her “grandma cat” she is the oldest we have. I think she is about 14 years old. She has lived and eaten with us forever: no one has ever managed to touch or pet her… one of the most shy animals ever known;)
