Polk R700 vs Revel F208, Double the price but double the sound?

Has anyone heard both of these speakers. I have read and digested most of the measurement threads and reviews on both speakers. Looking for any first hand experience and subjective opinions. Maybe a better comparison is R700 vs F206's. Here the F208's retails for $6000 CAD and the R700's for $3000 CAD so the F208's are double the price but how much better are they than the R700's?

I'd save some money and just get the F36. But only you know yourself, whether you can live in the knowledge that the miniscule difference still available, and whether it will grind on you.

Never thought of the F36. I will have to take a look! So many great options these days its unreal....
