I had same problem a few years ago, atom monitor v7 was out of stock but seller suggested mini monitor 7 with a discount. I agreed.
Tough question because you don't have mini monitor in the se line.Personnaly,as main speakers, i will go for mini monitor 7. Bigger woofer, heavier, more input power.atom seare really cheaper, 200 dollars less a pair as new, i suspect quality build cut...
I used mini monitor 7 as surround speakers and they were very satisfying
Of course, in both case, you will not have a lot of bass, a subwoofer is needed.
