Need sub recommendation for second floor apartment

The SVS SB-1000 series of 12 inch subs is about the same size as most 10 inch models and often goes on sale. As a second floor dweller myself, I decided to put my SB-1000 on a table to minimize coupling to my first floor neighbor's ceiling. FWIW, my L+R and center channel speakers are all active three-way monitors, Kali IN-8s and an IN-5.

The SVS SB-1000 ends up costing $650 as well here in Denmark.

Here's a link that indexes the subwoofers from most Danish retailers at a price I can afford. It's not all-inclusive, some places that ship to Denmark aren't indexed, but it may be easier for you to use the list to see if it's available here than looking it up yourselves. Which subs would you guys recommend for my second floor apartment from this list, what's your top 2 picks? I'd like an accurate and flat frequency response down to 27 Hz.

You can also check amazon.de, the German amazon has more listings than pricerunner.dk.

It has a DSP and phone control app. The SVS SB-1000 Pro is great choice if budget allows.

Mine is the original, non-DSP SB-1000. It cost me $400 USD on sale a couple of years ago -- it does the job and AFAICT doesn't need EQ. I'm running it low-passed at 60Hz, which seems to play well with the IN-8's smoothly rolled off low end -- IOW, no high-pass required. Kali initially recommended using the sub's fixed 80Hz high-pass instead, but conceded my setup would work pretty much as well, so I kept it because it allows me to control the sub's level via a passive attenuator without reaching around to it's back panel.

It appears they no longer offer that model and you have the perfect room. I too, hate climbing around on the floor.
