Making a passive high shelf filter?

You can't use it directly with headphones .... and is has wide and fixed frequency bands that may not do exactly what is needed.

I use it before my headphone amp (obviously). It works great for shelf filters. I use it to slightly shelve up the low frequencies for my HE4XX. I also use it to shelve down the mid/high frequencies for my Grados.
