How does them compare to the shape series from focal??Not sure about your budget, but these might do the trick:

I honestly have not heard either. But the Vanatoo gets very good reviews. Why do you want/need a passive radiator?

Yes. Seems more like a subjective preference of the OP than an objective one. But hey who is to judge.
Correct, a passive radiator could do something. But still it has limitations. Subsequently best would be to clarify other constraints likewise. For one the price, and then size, required output capabilities, directivity wide versus narrow, near- or farfield, intended placement and so on.
