Recently, I started looking into car audio and came across Rockford Fostgate car speakers. From the date of the article, this is old news to people who are into car audio, but it's new to me.

Apparently, they are "Klippel verified:" https://rockfordfosgate.com/news/rockford-fosgate-first-klippel-verified-under-new-certification/

Does anyone know what this actually means? Did they design their speakers using an NFS? Or is there some other standard that makes a speaker "Klippel verified?"

It's like an Intel Inside badge. Basically tells you nothing, but some people think it is a stamp of approval.
