100% I paid this for myself.

POMONA Yeeees!

20230506_122857.jpg

Ah... Really? At this price point?

Of course, I peeled off the thing. And now, I can precisely control the inside temperature of steaks. Steaks are umder control, stronger than ever.

Anyway Pomona is good.

One member claimed my loads are wrong before.

At that time I answered like this.

20230508_110627.png

But to make sure, I will add some.

The loads I failed with heat at first place.
20230508_110124.jpg
20230508_110221.jpg

Those were heats up considerably fast. when I touch them, I could immediately feel the heating. So relatively easy to find cause of nonlinearity.

And Current updated loads
20230508_110032.jpg
20230508_105638.jpg

16 Ohms, Rated as 1kW each.
You can imagine the size and weight.
Finally got coooool and peace in many ways.

So is the new load NP?
I think, YES.

Under
Temp. 28.9 C ( +-1 C) = 84.02 F
Humidity 44 % (+- 5 %)

Ch1

Ch 2

For 2 Ohms I made them parallel. So you can imagine It's sure for 2 Ohms.
Now, I can provide exact temperature change of load surface. But I'll not. Because, nobody provides benefits to me for adding such a cumbersome, bothering and frustrating process.

Just those who trust in me trust, and those who do not do not.
How to use the data is fully depends on you.

In fact I have more loads to test.

And I'm working hard on an reasonably-priced AMPs measurement review. Especially about AIYMA A07.

I also have some news about new fried device.

For, RX-A8A please wait. 3rd sample from Yamaha Korea is listed for measurement. (I haven't got paid any at this moment. So I'm still remaining as a 3rd party reviewer)

Congratulations on the new meter. On 2 ohm load, your wiring can cause it to change by 5 to 10%. And at any rate, I am not sure it matters if it is 1.9 or 2.1 ohm. No one knows their speaker impedance anyway.

I hope that the ceramic resistors in the last picture also work well.

It is an honor to receive such great support! I will post a follow-up article as soon as it is ready.

Kelvin (4-wire) connection should be used when measuring such low resistances. 34465A can do that.

Veryyyy nice bench meter. My heart sang when I saw the image of it for the first time. :D OK onto the loads and the instrumentation wiring. The loads need to be very well connected or the connections will heat up and melt the wire insulation and then all sorts of really bad stuff can happen like electrocute you, cause a fire and cause the amp to be shorted and fried etc etc. So pleaseee use proper terminations and if possible solder direct connections on your final test configuration.. :D
