based on their looks and the fact they're JBL's I thought they might be expensive but they're only $2000/pair

Who doesn't have the space or money for the bigger brothers, this is the best next thing.
Has the same great waveguide profile, should have better directivity in the crossover region but loose sensitivity as it is normal for the size.
Overall is a great addition to the 4300 series for the money . Can't wait to to see some measurements.

We really need some sort of group photo of all the 4-series JBL speakers because it's getting confusing trying to visualize the size.
Just from the 2-ways we have
  1. 4309 at 6.5 inches
  2. 4306 at 8 inches(but a bit of an outlier, with the white woofer and non-HDI horn)
  3. 4349 at 12 inches
  4. 4367 at 15 inches
No 10 inch model here, but there's a 10 inch 3-way. And don't get me started on the distinction between the classic L-series and the studio monitor 4-series where some 3-way studio monitors look like they belong in classic. Super confusing lineup, but I guess there's something for everyone.

I am getting this to review, by the way. Curious as to how it holds up. I've preferred JBL's wider directivity models (the L82) over the narrower ones (HDI-1600), because I think I'm not really a horn guy, but I'm curious!

I would have chosen the 2409h to make it a step higher than the 2410H in the HDI1600 and more in the realm of the pro heritage (705 708) like the 4349 With the D2 2415

Can’t wait your great review Napilopez

I don’t but give some time and will try to measure it from a HDI speaker

Typical Hartman befuddling marketing strategy.

Please also review it in the context of "professional" use in terms of neutrality and accuracy - I'm looking for desktop monitors and these are attractively priced and cool looking
