The connected amp should not be able to deliver more than 33Vpp = 23Vrms = 66W in 8 Ohms.
The 303 has current limiters which is why it is a safe bet for ESL57.

Connecting an amp that can deliver 33Vpp in 2 Ohms (dip at 15kHz) = 265W. This can be destructive.

You should use an amplifier that is current and voltage limited to ensure the ESL57 does not spark nor destroys amps or its transformers.

Take the advice given and look for the 303 which is designed to drive it optimally.
A revised one should last for decades again but can be expensive.
Destroying your membranes (by sparks making pinholes) or cheap amps blowing up will also be costly.

My Ghent case arrived in Miami today - 14 days from China.

USA destination is a Panama package forwarder.

Will wait to see if non-USA final destination will avoid tariff fees.

Normally it takes four days to get from Miami to me.

ICEpower modules are back-ordered at Parts Express - won't be able to assemble the unit until June.
