Hi Sokel,
That in your link uses a more common DIN 5 pin connector, with the 5 pins in a semicircle (screenshot below). The one I need to identify has the 5 pin in a sort of irregular 2-1-2 configuration as per pictures in post #1. I cannot find it anywhere. The supplier of the device doesn't answer (smells like a distributor putting it's brand to a made in somewhere device...)

On top of that yours has a slot too.It seems custom but lets wait if someone else identify it.

I don't think it's a DIN at all. Try searching the Digikey catalog and see if you find it there. Or take a clear photo (the one you posted is out of focus) and use it to do a Google image search. What's weird is that the pins are offset to one side rather than being centered.

It looks similar to a 4 pin, 216 degree DIN with a 5th pin added...

Yes, it looks like that. And the fifth pin goes to shield, maybe something diy could be arranged...
Thank you all, seems confirmed it must be something proprietary, i was hoping it was something niche but known but I guess it is not. Will give it a try at digikey like raindance suggested and see if I find something.

We need more information. What is this connector attached too?

It looks like there is a part number at the bottom of your upside down picture...

To a thermostat recirculation bath. The connection is for an external PT100. This:
