Genelec 8330A x 2+7350A: worth upgrading to 8351B x 2 given the placement on desk?

I'd go for the 8341 at minimum. My investigation says it's more popular than 8331, there seems to be more sales of the former, and, probably, you can sell it considerably easier afterwards if you decide to got after 51s. Better bass and SPL won't harm either.

I just placed an order for a pair of black 8341a. I was a bit torn on the two desk stand options (neither are the most elegant), but I went with the 8000-325b.

I have also been thinking of 8000-325b but, alas, I could not find them anywhere locally without long time of waiting (like a couple of months). I'd be eager to see how they will look on your desk if you won't mind sharing a photo of it.

Sure. It will probably be a few weeks at least. This is what I'm working with at the moment. I'll probably end up selling the 8030s.

They are looking and sounding great. The stands are extremely heavy duty and very easy to set up. Let me know if you have any questions.

I think they should have put the mid/tweeter in a small box and assume a sub-woofer will be used, as an option.
