Fosi Audio's First Dual-Mode Balanced Amplifier ZA3

If you mean input sensitivity then 0.775v.

No, sorry, but thank you. I mean the input impedance. All amplifiers have an input impedance and all preamplifiers have an output impedance, you want to match them well or you can have issues that mostly affects bass performance. They say the amplifier input impedance should be at a minimum 10X the output impedance of the preamplifier. My preamp has a higher output impedance and so I'm trying to find out what the input impedance of the ZA3 is. If you're wondering why I am interested in using a preamp with it if it already has volume is because I want to you this in my main audio system and use it as a power amp, not as an integrated amp with volume as it is now. There are a ton of people doing this.

I found out that Fosi has started selling 48v/10A DC power supply
two things.
- don't ever buy anything on amazon. EVER. amazon is a destructive force on the planet, both socially and environmentally.
- for the same money, (for 2). this is a better solution (you'll likely get a discount offer if you open the link):

There’s no high pass filter, adjustable or otherwise, in the V3 Mono.
neither is there is almost all amps. perhaps it's a language barrier, but i suspect that's what fosi meant by its elimination of the load dependency in its earlier v3 stereo amp. that's certainly how i interpreted it. my bad if i'm wrong...

Well, it's not exactly a Fosi ZA-3 with an adjustable HP filter, as had been suggested in #3.

It's a mono amp with no level pot or filter adjustment. It needs a previous stage to set both things.

Did you make that model? What's the model?
No they have not, yet. The question was originally asked in the context of an amp they sell with a subwoofer output, so a high pass filter makes some sense. Personally, I'd want a high and low pass filter for subwoofer usage, adjustable would be ideal but even stuck at 80hz would be okay.

Smart plug 10 eur, 12VDC wallwart 9 eur, mono jack plug 3.99 eur. Total 23 euros.
All three can be had for half these prices from AliExpress (I would do Amazon myself but if budget is tight....)
If for some reason you need a expensive fancy smart plug, well, you need it as well to plug the amp in directly, the only difference is the wallwart and the apator (12 eur in total).

Can anyone confirm that 12VDC wall adapter power supply and a smart plug can be used to power on/off ZA3 ?
I want to use smart plug to power on/off ZA3.
ZA3's 12V trigger > 12VDC wall adapter > smart plug

ZA3's 12V trigger > 12VDC wall adapter > smart plug
In short, it won’t work the way you showed.

12v trigger input is 3.5mm TRS type connector, like aux cable. You need a device that can provide 3.5mm cable connection with 12v trigger out.

But if you have a smart plug just plug the amp into the smart plug. Keep it simple. I do this with a couple of Fois amps. They are permanently "on" but on a outlet that turns off when I don't need them running.

Do you get pop sound when turning on/off with smart plug directly?

Never heard any. I should say I am using the Fosi V3 Stereo amps this way, not the ZA3. So it might be different?
I can say about ZA3 and v3 mono that they do have pop sounds.

Please excuse me if my question does not make sense. Can somebody advise if diagram below allows me to power on/off ZA3 via smart plug ?

Simply use smart plug on your wall adapter and then connect ZA3 power supply adapter to smart plug. Then you can power on/off with smart plug app on your phone, iPad, or similar.
I use these smart tap for same:

And then use the app to control power on/off and automate:
