Contrary to what I thought for months, Vestia line is not intended to replace the venerable (2013) Aria family... Focal just announced new Aria Evo X speakers at CES 2024 :

Aria Evo X N°1 – $2,398 / 1500€ pair
Aria Evo X N°2 – $4,798 / 3400€ pair
Aria Evo X N°3 – $5,198 / 4000€ pair
Aria Evo X N°4 – $5,998 / 4600€ pair
Aria Evo X Center – $999 / 800€ each

(Quite a significant increase over the original Aria regarding French MSRP... For literally copy-and-paste aesthetics...)

Maybe the Aria’s go on sale with the new one’s coming out.

Like that they published minimum impedance but 2.5 ohms on the 4’s and pretty close on the rest. I’m guessing a lower end AVR could have a tough time running a 5 or 7 channel setup.

It’s interesting that it seems to use the same tweeter as the Vestia which measured with better dispersion but a pretty aggressive roll off. It does seem like each generation or product line from Focal has a slightly different target, which is weird.

I've always loved the look of Focals products, but having " "F" Sandwich Technology" printed on the driver trim rings is pretty hilarious.

That's... very expensive. The pair retails this very day for 1990€, and measures about 95% the same as the regular 936, (that one can find at ≈1300€/pair, this first day of French Winter Sales)

But you know, Focal US distributors... ;)
Correction. Should have said LAST year lol. At the time, they were discounted from the normal $3299 each, $6598 a pair. Even now, a search on USA Amazon (which isn't where I aquired them) show the least expensive pair as $3958. I agree 1300 Euros for two is an outstanding price.

Followed your link and that 1990 Euro looks like it is the price for one speaker, not a pair. I believe when I purchased them, Europe retail was still 7000 Euros a pair. Regardless, I am very happy with the price value I received. Back to main topic. I really like the new Green Moss color of the new line.

The price is for a pair :)
You can find them on various retailers between 2000 and 2400e for a pair at the moment.

Aria 936 K2 were released in 2020 at 4000e a pair, not 7000e!

You do need some French lessons, it is absolutely for the pair.
Also, I'm not some random guy that would make such basic mistakes... Thx. ;)

Shows me for assuming the price was per speaker, like they were being sold in the US. It's a good day as I learned something new. Thank you to you and @VintageFlanker :) The irony is a got these early last year, then ended up shipping them this last fall to Europe as I'm moving there. Ah well. As I said, no regrets regardless.

My assumptions on pricing and my mistake. Thank you. Yeah, I saw 3500e and mistakenly took that as the per speaker cost, not for a pair. Obviously I AM some random guy who would make such a basic mistake. <shrug> <bows head in shame>

Hahaha. Not really your fault. ;) Most Hi-Fi retailers display their prices per piece, but some clearly state prices for the pair. In my opinion, it should be illegal to announce any price per piece if the customer wouldn't be able to order only one speaker (and most stores will ask you to add two to the cart for that the order could be validated...).

After Amir's review of the Chora 816, I bought myself a pair and have been enjoying them a lot. I wonder how much of an improvement that Aria (or even the higher end) line would be over the Chora series - hard to imagine how much better it can sound.
