It seems the song "Besame Mucho" has traveled the world over. Recently I came across a live performance on YT by Devitha Pradinda (voc) and Franco Contreras (gtr), featuring lyrics partly in the original Spanish and partly in Indonesian, sung and played in a single take.

Katell Keineg is a singer-songwriter extraordinaire, and a good guitarist to boot. She sings her own rather original compositions, and she has one of the lovelier voices in pop music that I have heard. Unreal feeling this, that it has been about a quarter of a century since I first listened to these songs.

Katell Keineg performs (voc, gtr) her song "The Gulf Of Araby" on the studio album "O Seasons, O Castles". [The song was covered by Natalie Merchant on a live recording album, and there is also a duet of the song by Katell and Natalie on YT.]

The rest of these are all from the album "Jet"
"The Battle of the Trees"

"Leonor"

"Veni, Vidi, Vici"

"Venus"

"Mother's Map"

I guess it's just me but I would have thought that Barbra would have been at the top of list.
I thought I went through the whole forum and not even a mention. So here goes one of many (pre disco)

Barbra Streisand " With One More Look at You/Watch Closely Now"
