Those Yamaha is surprising. In a medium shoebox room, it simulates better than any soundbar I've heard, a surround set-up. Sounds do come from the back, really! As usual and unfortunately, they never market it properly. Yamaha has made those before the "soundbar" term . An that since December 2004!!! A true Lifestyle product.

Didn't Devialet previously make a soundbar for the UK/European market that could be rented with a Sky television subcription?
I heard this at a AXPONA today. Not as good as the Phantoms (as long as their stereo link is stable... 
), but it seems like a reasonable product if you have to have a one box solution. It got loud, stayed clear, and gave something resembling actual high cues with ceiling bounce.
I haven't heard any high end soundbars like the Yamaha or Sennheiser to compare it to though...

I had the Dione for 2 weeks but returned it. It is so bass-heavy, it is really unpleasant to live with. And the surround effect is pretty average...
Amir cleaned it all up. You missing it and quoting the spam post happens to all of us at one time or another. Spam happens
