So, I'm trying to keep this post short - does anyone have knowledge of any measurements of the speakers mentioned in the topic, especially FS207/FS207A? I've googled and googled, unfortunately in vain so far. FS207A is a 2.5-way, MTM design with an AMT (I believe it is the third iteration of what Elac itself calls JET) tweeter and two aluminium-sandwich cone bass/midbass drivers in a reflex-loaded enclosure.

I happen to own a pair of white Elac FS207A speakers and I really like them. Bought the pair about three years ago and fell in love at once. The sound - and this is, of course, purely subjective - is non-fatiguing, really easy to listen to, no matter what genre of music I'm playing. The highs are especially sweet but one needs to sit with ears quite precisely at the tweeter level to get the best sound out of them. They also pump out a fair amount of well-articulated bass considering that it only has two 150mm bass/midbass drivers. I was about to do some nf measurements myself but the universe had other plans for me and now I'm stuck with a chronic nerve pain for the rest of my life, so that's not going to happen anytime soon. Moreover, I'm living in Northern-Europe and in the centre of a city, so doing speaker measurements outdoors would be quite a challenge anyway, unless I'll get some help and pack them into the boot of my tiny car and haul them to my childhood home in the countryside next summer. Now that I've been bitten by the Elac-bug, I've been thinking of upgrading to FS247 model at some point.

I'd also be glad to read user opinions/general discussion of the Elacs of the aforementioned era! :)
