Hi all.
Just noticed when connecting cxn to cxa 80 or either rca or xlr iam getting faint sound from unused rca s?????
Example .
When I switch to unused rca and turn volume up I can hear the track playing. Faint but it’s there??? So say rca playing on a1 on amp,
I can hear music on a2 a3 a4. Xlr is slightly fainter but still there?

Could it be because my amp is sitting on top of cxn???

It's pretty normal to have this kind of crosstalk. You could add shorting connectors to the unused inputs and it'll probably go away.

I forgot about crosstalk, thanx for the info.

The RCA’s are very short Can’t get any shorter.

Just going to use xlr.
Thanx again.

Shortening Shorting connectors are “caps” or “covers” which actually short the signal. :)

Must be something in your combo, i tried it and hear nothing. the cxa80 is standing on top of the cxn also.

I have the cxn V2 and CXA81 on top of each other and use XLR + RCA.
No problems either.

Shorting, not shortening! And it's referring to the UNUSED inputs so it doesn't really matter the length of the cables you're using already.

There must something going on.
I have moved cxn to about 4 ft away.
Problem still exists.
Dam this is goin to drive me nuts.

Why would i hear low music track on the rcas while using xlr?

So i play a track using xlr then unplug all rca cables. Then switch to any rca. A1 A2 ect turn up volume i can still hear slight souldcin the speakers
??? Magic

Its doing my hesd in.
Same thing with the cxa60 but no xlr.

My setup is either mdac plus to amp or adi2 dac fs.

Definitely rca inputs

Removed all connections except for A1.
Switched to other unused RCA’s while playing . A2 turned up high, there’s sound, A2 same but a little quieter A3 can still hear the track but quieter, and so on. All digital inputs don’t have any affect .

Conclusion
Using rca bleeds into other RCA’s.
Same goes for cxa60. That’s pants.
