Hi everyone, I need some advice for a purchase being a complete beginner. I would like to improve the sound of my TV, an oled philips 854. So far I have just used the integrated audio. It is connected to an xbox and a Sky decoder. I have a budget of 400-450 euros. How can I organize myself? A fundamental requirement is that it can have a headphone output so that it can be used in gaming. I have nothing, dac, amplifier or anything else. What do you recommend? Thank you very much for any replies.

What about Loxjie A30, connected via optical to TV (it probably has it), and then the rest of the budget for some speakers. Check out the reviews here for something that fits the budget and is halfway decent.
Thanks a lot for the answer. So could i connect the speakers directly to the loxjie a30? Don't I need anything else? The TV has an optical output, so there shouldn't be any problems.

Yes, the A30 is a complete package: DAC, amp, headphone amp etc.

Yep, agree with Loxjie A30.

Review, Sells for 129 EUR.

I've used speaker selector to help you narrow down speakers:
1. Passives only, since you can pair with Loxjie A30.
2. Budget of US$540/pair, which is approx 450 eur (ignoring the cost of A30 for now, just to give you more options)
3. Amir's rating of either
3 = recommended
4 = highly recommended

Is this your TV:
https://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/43PUS8545_12/8500-series-4k-uhd-led-android-tv-with-ambilight-3-sided
Specs show that it already has a headphone jack, so possibly all you'd need could be as simple as a soundbar-type product for speakers.
It's not my tv, but I confirm it still has a headphone jack output. But I wanted something qualitatively better to exploit since there is background noise. The entry of the xbox controller is also bad. So maybe I would need something like the loxjie a30, a handyman. How is the headphone output of the loxjie?

Poor.

It doesn't hold a candle against a real headphone amp, like the JDS Labs Atom Amp for US$100.
Review.

Which of course, you can still get down the line.
But it has no remote, which means you'll need to use set the headphone amp to have a set volume (using the knob) and then use A30 to control the volume via the remote.

Loxjie A30 review should answer most questions about it. You'll see transatlantic pricing and availability variations with the speakers which will probably alter the value proposition, but it's a good start.

It's not very good. But probably not worse than the TV or the Xbox. Also: he has only €450,- budget in total. There is not a lot of wiggle room left.

Although, with stretching the budget a little bit:

Loxije A30: 155,-
JBL A130: 250,-
Topping L30: 115,-

You'd also have a state of the art headphone amp.

Cheap good speakers by Pylon Audio, they are a Polish manufacturer working for big audio brands.

[QUOTE = "voodooless, post: 696030, member: 16967"] Non è molto buono. Ma probabilmente non peggio della TV o dell'Xbox. Inoltre: ha solo € 450, - budget in totale. Non è rimasto molto spazio di manovra.

Tuttavia, allungando un po 'il budget:

Loxije A30: 155, -
JBL A130: 250, -
Topping L30: 115, -

Avresti anche un amplificatore per cuffie all'avanguardia. [/ QUOTE]
Thanks so much for the replies. By evaluating all the available options, is a system with dac and active speakers possible? Otherwise an all in one like the klispch r51pm? Do they sound much worse?

Yes, active speaker + DAC, or active speaker with DSP without the need of a DAC are also possible. Something like the Adam mentioned for instance.

I've read that Adam's are great, so they might be great options. In my request I saw that the headphone output is a problem, at this point I can give it up. If I wanted to do DAC + Adam or other active speakers, how would I control the volume?
