Cartridge alignment

Any tips for keeping the bloody thing square while you tighten, also how tight is necessary?

I try to keep my thumb and pointer finger so I hold both headshell and cartridge firmly. Gradually tighten both screws --alternating-- Before final tightening I can nudge the cartridges alignment. Force is not more than two finger can turn, that is not maximum force at all. I use washer on headshell, not on nut

The torque wrench from Rega apparently has 0.4nm of torque. These screws don't need to be very tight at all. If you simply hold the screwdriver between thumb and index finger and stop when it slips, it should be more than enough.

detachable headshell is a blessing :)
