Banana Plug to Speakon Speaker Cable

I just purchased a set of custom built mono block amps that have the usual speaker binding post (spade or banana), but also has a Speakon socket I can use for my speakers. As of now I use my Nordost Red Dawn (banana/banana) speaker cables and the sound is outstanding.

But I was wondering if there's an advantage to going with banana/Speakon? Any speaker cable builders who offer these configurations?

Has anyone ever A/B'd a speaker cable vs one with Speakon?

Properly terminated speakons will make lower resistance and more secure contact. I prefer them.

Many but mostly in the pro audio line. I use both Benchmark Bench Studio&Stage cables and custom-made cables, all with Canare 4s11.

No reason to do so, imho. Better contact, no magic needed.

Unless one of the connectors is making a poor, high resistance connection there can be no difference in the "sound" of connectors.
Contact Benchmark audio for Canare wired cables or possibly Blue Jeans cable. Both will construct custom cables for a fraction of Nordost and no change in sound quality.
