Good Morning everyone. So my go to cheap cable brand is the Parts Express house Brand. Parts express changed names over the years and is now called Audtek. I have bought thier HDMI cables cheap as peanut’s and I have saved my wallet. I did put them up against the following manufacturers HDMI cables . I couldn’t see or hear a difference in color or texture or sound.
1.Supra ($120.00)
2.Canara ($60.00)
3.RCA ($30.00)
4.G.E. ($30.00)
and the Audtek was ($10.00 plus shipping so $20.00). A guy I know said I would hear the difference in the Audio quest ($700.00) HDMI cables because of the silver content in it. . okay nice try . So have all of their premade cables and their 13 gauge bulk speaker cable and the all premade speaker cables. The ends are very cheaply made which I expect and could put on their heavier gauge banana plugs. I have been buying them for years and when a family member needs a certified HDMI cable’s I reach in my cable ben and give them a Audtek cable. Life time warranty. My Custom cable provider and maker is Redco Audio. I have never had an issue or problem with any premade cable or orders. These guys are great. So I have not tried Blue Jeans cables but, I have know of their cables they sell for years. I have had a mono price speaker cable from a guy a work years ago that was an off copy of the mogami W3103 and it was $0.50 a foot. compared to $3.00 a foot. Now is $2.86 a foot a performance Audio. I do think there are differences in cables but, to a certain point. I just get O.F.C. and the gauge I want and go from there. So what’s your go to cheap cables? or Pre made or home brewed diy cables do you use?Jeff

I generally order cables from Monoprice.

A guy I know said I would hear the difference..
Guys like that are easy to find. ;) They NEVER do proper blind listening tests. Nor do they explain/describe the sound in scientific terms (noise, distortion, or frequency response). Sometimes they show measurable differences (that don't actually affect audio).

As long as cables are appropriate for the application and not defective they don't affect the sound.

James Randi (RIP) once offered a $1 Million bet that nobody could hear a difference with expensive speaker cables but there was never an agreement and the challenge/experiment was never completed.

Amazon basics are often hard to beat in terms of value for money.

I have never tried them but, I will have to order a few things from them and see what I think? Thanks for the reminder I kinda forgot about them off all companys.

I love Redco. They are smaller and sometimes more personal than Markertek whom I also love.
I have no inclination to go as cheap as possible. Cheap and "good enough" often have their own hidden costs.

I pay more for known quality from suppliers who use quality connectors and cable and who actually assemble the cable assemblies and whom you can actually reach via email or phone.
I had an issue with a couple of Redco orders and each time they were same-day responsive.
I pay more now, don't worry, don't look back, and don't second guess if I "saved" money.

Interesting. I have been a Markertek customer since the COVID thing (when our church moved briskly and impressively adroitly to livestreaming) and I have been extremely happy with their customer support. If Redco can be even better... hmm... gotta check them out.

No doubt in the current era there are many folks who conflate low price with best value. As I also infer is the case of @Haflermichi , I am not one of them. ;)

I agree I do have a lot of cables but, I draw the line with $18.50. a meter. It’s crazy but, I got so much off on my order. All diy cables. I make my own.

I tend to order from Redco because they'll make cables that are either expensive or difficult to find elsewhere. About the only reasonable place to get DB25 snakes IME...
