I must admit that I rather like the industrial design of the Zero in a "Did you get those at IKEA?" sort of way.

No, really... I like it...

That's sophisticated European design Ray, there is probably a chrome version for the US.

Polyurethane cabinet with a soft-touch coating.

If we can't get it in chrome, plastic will do.

Cessaro Liszt and Avantgarde Zero, I hope they get on!

I like the industrial design of the Zeros very much. Only heard them once, and to my ears they sounded quite colored. It's like the had an unnatural emphasis on some elements in the upper midrange - a kind of zingy distortion. Maybe it's about "higher order modes" (HOMs), that some horn designs suffer from: http://kolbrek.hoyttalerdesign.no/index.php/blag/28-higher-order-modes

Does anybody know of measurements for these? But I'm not sure if HOMs show up in ordinary frequency plots.

The horns are good but I really want are these,

Yes they really are fantastically attractive!

Sorry about the necrobump- Keith, how do the Zero 1s compare to the more modern waveguide designs like the Kiis and Dutch & Dutch?

I was hugely disappointed with the Zeros.

Bummer to hear the Zeros were a disappointment. They are so incredibly elegant.

Just took a look at your speaker lineup. WOW - VERY NICE!!

I was a dealer for two of your brands (Gradient and ATC) and would still be today if hadn't become a manufacturer, and there's a third that I would have added (Dutch & Dutch).

You are in a rare (perhaps unique?) position in being a dealer for both Kii and Dutch & Dutch. Nice job!!

Heard them at an Electronics discounter recently, can confirm. And I was so thrilled too, AA in a big market! Nope, nope, fail.
It's a double shame because AA Trio with hornsub are amongst my favourite setups I have ever heard. Just effortless dynamics and a HUGE sound image. Somebody described them as the cinemascope of sound and I found that accurate :)
