Iranian artist who combines elements of the traditional with sound design/drone/electronica. Can get lost in his extensive and varied back catalogue for days. A real speaker work out to boot. Above is from his Parallel Persia LP, full album here.

A female Palestinian experimental techno/electronica artist. I know nothing about her other than this LP from last year.

One of my personal favorites so far. Though I'm enjoyin all the different and varied things folks are bringin to this topic! (And sort of dislike singling things out.)
