The blond chick bass player is hot !
Yeah!
I intentionally omitted the embedded-links to avoid youtube's automatic pop-ups.
I was of the punk-era before the mTV-days and rather enjoy my genre of music without the music-videos, or stirred, or shaken.

What is it about the bass and chick players, seem to be a bunch of them.
I've been in lust with Tina Weymouth for 50 years. ;)

I lean more to the mellower prog rock stuff myself, coming out of the Pink Floyd days.

You can't be complaining, can you?
I am certain if they were a bunch of chick drummers, you'd never get to post their posterior views.;)

There were some classics. :) Bellman was there, I see. However, I think Cornelis Vreeswijk's Bellman interpretations are better. As you may know:
Cornelis Vreeswijk was born and grew up in the Netherlands. He emigrated to Sweden with his parents in 1949 at the age of twelve.

Some tips:

Bellman interpretation. For those who don't know Dutch, nemas problemas. Despite that, you still understand the meaning in some way with music and the feelings anyway:
The song is dedicated to "Doctor Blad" who was one of Bellman's closest friends and family doctors in the latter part of his life. The song describes the burial of Löfberg's wife at Maria Cemetery in Stockholm. The song was published in the first edition of Fredman's epistles in 1790 and does not appear in any known manuscript before that, so it is believed to have been composed in the late 1780s or 1790. Cornelis Vreeswijk's own song:

Thank you @DanielT, most interesting!

Which ones out of interest? Spotify seems to provide very little to no info on the individual tracks for this album, so it's a bit hard to tell for the uninitiated. Though I found out that your amazing national anthem is included, and recently I learned about the history of Morgon. Great stuff.

No. 5 on your list. I promise you every single kid in Sweden has sung it in music lessons in elementary and middle school.;):)

Fjäril'n vingad syns på Haga (The butterfly wingèd's seen in Haga) is one of Carl Michael Bellman's collection of songs called Fredmans sånger, published in 1791, where it is No. 64. The song describes Haga Park, the attractive natural setting of King Gustav III's never-completed Haga Palace just north of Stockholm. An earlier version of the song was a verse petition to obtain a job for Bellman's wife. The composition is one of the most popular of Bellman's songs, being known by many Swedes by heart. It has been recorded many times from 1904 onwards, and translated into English verse at least four times.

No. 6. Here by the other great, together with Cornelis Vreeswijk,Bellman interpreter in Sweden Fred Åkerström.They knew each other and it was quite a turbulent friendship, but that's another story.:)

I see a lot of young guys made up to look like old guys. How well can make up be used to make an old guy look like a young guy? That seems a lot harder.

Guitar intro to Lou Reeds Sweet Jane…..

Wasn’t a LR fan growing up but have recently been listening. Quite a story behind old Lou, worth checking out.
