Advice: how to add an Equalizer for Marantz NR1200 + speakers

Hi,
at the moment im using Marantz NR1200 with Revel M16 speakers. Im streaking music directly from Spotify to Marantz and have a turntable connected (AudioTechnica) to Marantz line in.

I would like to add an equalizer, e.g. MiniDSP Flex, to correct some lower frequencies.

What is the best way to add such eq device?
Marantz PRE OUT (zone2 or front speakers) > to the MiniDSP equalizer's INPUT jacks
MiniDSP equalizer's OUTPUT jacks > to the Marantz 1200's RCA in?

Here's one option:


Pro: less than one third of the cost of a miniDSP Flex
Con: only four PEQ bands, no Bluetooth, no display, no option to add Dirac for automatic Room EQ

Thx for the reply. Though im concerned about one thing -> SINAD loss while eq turned on on WiiM Pro?
