Greetings!
I'm setting up a hybrid living room and cinema and I'm not sure which front speakers to use. I currently use a pair of active Klipsch R-15PMs as front speakers in a 5.1 setup, but I'm thinking about using tower speakers because I believe there's room for them. However, I have some doubts:
- Since my budget isn't very high, and living in Brazil we have few options, I'm wondering if the sound quality of a pair of bookshelves would be better than that of a pair of tower speakers of the same price;
- Along these lines, between the JBL Stage A180 towers and the Kef Q150 bookshelf, would it be better to get the Kef, in terms of sound quality? (and the bookshelf would also please my wife
)
Any other recommendations for speakers in this price range would be very welcome!!
