I just use my browser now (Chrome, in my case) for PDFs.
Yep and very compatible with ms files. The only problem I had was some slight rewriting of excel macros to get my reverse engineered custom voicing tool for lyngdorf roomperfect working on it.
Anybody know of a nice pdf viewer freeware software other than Adobe Reader?
I thought so too. All indications I have in the screenshots are to a new paid annual subscription for extra features like rotate.

Yes, yes it does... I do it all the time.View attachment 217607
I think Chrome has rotation built-in. I would check if something is wrong on your end though, as the other user suggested.
I tested the rotation function in chrome and that works good.Yes, yes it does... I do it all the time.

Hmmz. I checked for updates, found none and still no rotation without a subscription.I updated my free Acrobat Reader DC to the latest version on Windows 10. Rotate View is still there in the Edit menu and it works.

I originally wrote Edit menu and have corrected it to View menu. What do you see under your View menu, and could you take a screenshot of Help > About Adobe Acrobat Reader DCHmmz. I checked for updates, found none and still no rotation without a subscription.
