Here is the frequency response for the new Adam Audio H200 closed back over ear headphones for anyone curious.

These headphones have very shallow earcups so dumbo ears beware!

Earpad Dimensions

  • Height: 65.00mm
  • Width: 40.00mm
  • Depth: 25.80mm
Below is the frequency response measured on my industry standard GRAS 45CA test fixture.
Calibrated 94 dB SPL, five averages per side

Thanks for sharing! That frequency response looks definitely serviceable.

At 160€, main competition will be the K371, DT770, and FT1

A tip: don't use black font color in your posts.
Text disappears for people using ASR's XF2 Default Dark theme.

Ah yes, I see. I updated it and removed colour formatting.

I really like these, they feel built pretty well and the headband pad can be replaced alongside the earpads.

Nice, I wasn't aware they made headphones and this doesn't look bad!
On paper it's like a K371 with more bass, which has its appeal.

On the website they mention a DSP plugin with an externalization effect.
Were you able to check that out?

It's nothing special, the "Externalization" option makes them sound more coloured and closed in to me. I have attached a PluginDoctor view below.

Thanks for sharing! I was hoping for some fun room simulation plugin like DearVR (I think Sennheiser bundles it with HD 490), looks like this aint't it.

Looks good. A lot of bass (but not boomy, a rather nice bass around 50hz so it would sound very good to me probably) which could ba a nice thing when listening at lower volumes kinda like built in loudness correction.
I hope it's QC is better than something like akg k371 and also parts availability...

Keep in mind the bass drops down to almost flat with a roll off with average thickness glasses, I'm not sure about hair but it's tolerance is poor. Keep this in mind if any is applicable

Yes that's also something to keep in mind that on head response will be probably lower a tad even with very good seal.
Can you please measure and show seal tolerance?

Glasses leg, pad pushed firmly over it to try and maintain seal. Thickness is about 1.8mm

Wow that's some serious leakage Intolerance, hence FR on head could be very different in that area versus what we see on measurement rig
