Current setup is equilateral.
Speakers look further apart than they should be from listening position, facing straight forwards.
Head position approximately 1/3 from back wall.

though with the doors in the room this is really the only feasible wall to have them on.

As I understand it Doors are usually in common places. Or you are worried about affected acoustics from a closed/open door?

I am not too fussy, I find the best sound with the door soft-closed (resting on the latch) =].
