No R5 but judging from Hiby R3 and R6 pro it don’t seems the R5 will be any different. Just mass market quality similar to the zx300

Why would you assume that? They are very different products but you do you.

that's just something I call brand reputation, yes brands sometimes do improves, but with a lower end and higher end both measures mediocre at best with different dac chips I believe that would be more on design choices on the circuit design, much like how Audio-gd, this can of course be wrong just like how Schiit improved in recent years but until seeing the improved products with great measurement I will stay skeptical and avoid them ATM
