Yes, somebody is out there. I Googled the band Japanese Mono and did not like the dOOM and glOOM with big images sorta style they have.

I remember hearing their song Heartbeats on TV as a preteen, I specifically remember how much I disliked it. In fact, I disliked it so much that I remember getting angry at the programs insisting on playing that song over and over for a few weeks.
I guess that I've widened my horizons a bit since then. Over the years I've grown especially fond of the album where this song's from, Deep Cuts.
