A song I like, but which also serves as an explanation of my ^^^ previous post.

Iconic group with an undeniably unique sound. Saw them in the fall of 1975 in Purdue's Elliott Hall of Music when I was a freshman--the best concert I have ever seen. As to your "explanation", hard to believe it will soon be 50 years since that date.

Ian had a command of the stage like no other frontman. They were all dressed just as they were depicted on the Aqualung LP cover. Jeffery Hammond-Hammond in the zebra suit in his last show with the band.

I really do appreciate this post of yours by Willie Dixon and Memphis Slim earlier in the day. Had listened to the full album and also artist's who I've never heard of until today. Spent much of the afternoon where Willie was born in Vicksburg Mississippi during the spring of 2023 visiting Vicksburg National Park and the USS Cairo Gunboat / Museum. You sparked an interest of mine and others in the states music culture, thank you.
