Tom Petty Live at the Fillmore
IMHO: The seminal live rock-n-roll double album (1971 release) was the "Allman Brothers Band at Fillmore East".

Not many know that Duane's grin hiding below his mustache is because Duane's cupped hands are hiding a (just-scored) 8-ball...
I think the album cover was not shot at FillmoreEast (lower-east side) during the 3-days of live recording.
Southern Rock was as good as it got in those early years.

Yesterday, while running errands, we put on the Living Colour "Vivid" [1988] album on and remembered how good they were.
I guess I did not get enough because on the way back home, we listened to the Living Colour "Times Up" [1990] album.
Last minute shopping was made tolerable...:cool:
