Wattson Emerson Analog (1250 Euro) - companies have no nerves

So there is this product - a DAC - built on SBC (or so) that the company priced... 1250 Euro: Wattson Emerson Analog
And there is this guy, who "cannot recommend it enough".
I wish I was in the business of building a product for 100 Euro and selling it for 12x more...
I am wondering: if company does such marvalous job and people are buying it - shall we conclude Einstein was right and is today as well:

I listened to both products -Emerson and Analog-, the Emerson provided a very good playback based on improved clocking.
It's a good alternative to give back life to old DAC without USB (or poor USB) implementation.
For the price...we talk about small volume of production from a small company specializing in OEM.
