TV Series Suggestion Please

We used to truly enjoy Elementary TV series, which lasted for 7 seasons and 154 episodes (2012 -2019).

I used to like that. I don't think its up there with the very best TV, but Jonny Lee Miller is pretty good in everything I've seen him in and Lucy Liu was good as a Watson that played a much more active role in things, rather than just being a side-kick. :)
 
I started watching Masters of the Air, managed to get through three episodes before I just got bored. Same thing happens every episode, they fly somewhere, some people gets shot down and then the rest lands somewhere. Don't see any particular overarching story, the characters are uninteresting and when flying most of them go totally anonymous because of those masks so I have no idea who dies and who doesn't. The CGI is generally quite bad, it's 2024 so there is no reason for it to look so dated.
So my suggestion is to stay away from Masters of the Air, it tries but it's not even close to what Band of Brothers was.

Instead I'd suggest go watch Fallout. It's definitely not perfect with sometimes the same kind of stupid script as something like a Disney Star Wars series, but overall it was fine, I mean dystopian stuff is always interesting imo!
 
I'd watch a few episodes of the upcoming prezzzzzidential debatezzzzzz.
But only if some clever youtuber turned these events into hi-quality, AI-generated, live, CG animation, using 2 Marvel super-heroes, to spice them up.
I'd only ask that the facial and verbal depictions must be highly accurate.
Popcorn? Anyone?

We tried that "Sanctuary" series
A Canadian science fantasy, created by Damian Kindler. The show aired on Syfy between 2008 and 2011, for four seasons and a total of 59 episodes.

We had liked Amanda Tapping in the Stargate TV-series but we agreed to gong Sanctuary after S01E02.:confused:

Don’t want to spoil it for people who’ve never seen the show. Funny thing is, very few people on the show actually knew how did it since the producers decided to shoot alternative versions in which pretty much the whole cast took turns shooting JR. :)

Fantasy? You might want to try The Wheel of Time based on the novels by Robert Jordan. If you read the novels (i did) you probably won't like it.
The reactions are mixed. The book nerds thought they changed too much. Don't set your expectations too high.

These series are all on Amazon Prime.

What about a period piece? Bridgerton is a very steamy show based on Julia Quinn's novels set in the competitive world of Regency era London's ton during the season, when debutantes are presented at court. It's Shonda Rhimes first Netflix series. NSFW.

There's of course the continuation of Sex in the City: And just like that....

The reboot of Dexter. Dexter: New Blood (Season 1 just ended on ShowTime)

I also like Nancy Drew on the CW. The only show I watch on the Network. It's a detective show (duh) with supernatural elements.

Maybe a comedy. I absolutely hate most sitcoms (i can't stand laugh tracks) and comedy shows. But there are some high quality ones.

Crazy Ex-girlfriend (the title was wrongly chosen. Forget about it). Just watch it.

My wife is currently viewing Bridgerton...I occasionally see with her but currently competition between seeing this and watching Wimbledon. Both are London location based shows, lol. Hopefully she will conclude the soap opera before the Wimbledon finals arrive.

edit: this is a Dark Scifi, with Psychological teenage drama.
I enjoyed it.
It seems like a teenage girl drama, and there is some of that there too, but it is much more!
It is quite a psychological drama.
Where you can watch it these days? I don't know! (I mean legal ones ;) )
