TV Series Suggestion Please

We used to truly enjoy Elementary TV series, which lasted for 7 seasons and 154 episodes (2012 -2019).
"Before the series premiered, it was met with some criticism, given it followed closely on the heels of the BBC's modern adaptation Sherlock. ...The season two premiere was partly filmed on location in London. The series was well-received by critics, who praised the performances, writing, novel approach to the source material, and fresh modern twist detailed throughout the show's New York–based adaptation down to the size of the brownstone first seen in the series premiere.
We miss such intelligent whodunits that have become quite rare!

I used to like that. I don't think its up there with the very best TV, but Jonny Lee Miller is pretty good in everything I've seen him in and Lucy Liu was good as a Watson that played a much more active role in things, rather than just being a side-kick. :)

I started watching Masters of the Air, managed to get through three episodes before I just got bored. Same thing happens every episode, they fly somewhere, some people gets shot down and then the rest lands somewhere. Don't see any particular overarching story, the characters are uninteresting and when flying most of them go totally anonymous because of those masks so I have no idea who dies and who doesn't. The CGI is generally quite bad, it's 2024 so there is no reason for it to look so dated.
So my suggestion is to stay away from Masters of the Air, it tries but it's not even close to what Band of Brothers was.

Instead I'd suggest go watch Fallout. It's definitely not perfect with sometimes the same kind of stupid script as something like a Disney Star Wars series, but overall it was fine, I mean dystopian stuff is always interesting imo!

I'd watch a few episodes of the upcoming prezzzzzidential debatezzzzzz.
But only if some clever youtuber turned these events into hi-quality, AI-generated, live, CG animation, using 2 Marvel super-heroes, to spice them up.
I'd only ask that the facial and verbal depictions must be highly accurate.
Popcorn? Anyone?

ADD: This wish is purely for entertainment value; devoid of political agenda.

We tried that "Sanctuary" series
A Canadian science fantasy, created by Damian Kindler. The show aired on Syfy between 2008 and 2011, for four seasons and a total of 59 episodes.
We had liked Amanda Tapping in the Stargate TV-series but we agreed to gong Sanctuary after S01E02.

Remind me: Who killed JR?
Don’t want to spoil it for people who’ve never seen the show. Funny thing is, very few people on the show actually knew how did it since the producers decided to shoot alternative versions in which pretty much the whole cast took turns shooting JR. :)

if you're into Sci-fi the absolutely must watch is The Expanse based on the novels by James S. A. Corey. Currently in its last season.

The Man in The High Castle based on a novel by Philip K. Dick.
Foundation based on the novels by Isaac Asimov.

Fantasy? You might want to try The Wheel of Time based on the novels by Robert Jordan. If you read the novels (i did) you probably won't like it.
The reactions are mixed. The book nerds thought they changed too much. Don't set your expectations too high.

These series are all on Amazon Prime.

What about a period piece? Bridgerton is a very steamy show based on Julia Quinn's novels set in the competitive world of Regency era London's ton during the season, when debutantes are presented at court. It's Shonda Rhimes first Netflix series. NSFW.

There's of course the continuation of Sex in the City: And just like that....

The reboot of Dexter. Dexter: New Blood (Season 1 just ended on ShowTime)

I also like Nancy Drew on the CW. The only show I watch on the Network. It's a detective show (duh) with supernatural elements.

Maybe a comedy. I absolutely hate most sitcoms (i can't stand laugh tracks) and comedy shows. But there are some high quality ones.

Crazy Ex-girlfriend (the title was wrongly chosen. Forget about it). Just watch it.
The Good Place

Anti-rom com: You're the Worst.
My wife is currently viewing Bridgerton...I occasionally see with her but currently competition between seeing this and watching Wimbledon. Both are London location based shows, lol. Hopefully she will conclude the soap opera before the Wimbledon finals arrive.

I am surprised neither of these 2 TV-series have been previously posted:

(1)"The Librarians" TV-series 2014-2018 (imdb describes it as 'action/adventure/comedy/drama/fantasy').
The Library has chosen a new group to help safeguard magical cursed artifacts throughout time and around the world: an art historian, a thief, a mathematician, and a warrior are sent through the portal to help bring back the others who are protected by the Library from the recently-released evil.
(2)"Almost Paradise" TV-series 2020- (imdb describes it as 'action/crime/drama').
Former DEA Agent Alex Walker (Jake Stone character of "The Librarians"), forced into retirement, moves to the island of Cebu in the Philippines. He purchases the hotel gift shop in the hopes of managing his stress and high blood pressure, but the wealthy and criminal element on the island keep drawing him back into law enforcement.
Both get good ratings.

edit: this is a Dark Scifi, with Psychological teenage drama.
I enjoyed it.
It seems like a teenage girl drama, and there is some of that there too, but it is much more!
It is quite a psychological drama.
Where you can watch it these days? I don't know! (I mean legal ones ;) )

Don't get mad but I have to recommend you (@Ken Tajalli) a very old series but only because I think you (@Ken Tajalli) would enjoy it.
Dream On is an American sitcom television series created by Marta Kauffman and David Crane. It follows the family life, romantic life, and career of Martin Tupper, a divorced New York City book editor played by Brian Benben. The show distinctively interjected clips from older black-and-white television series to punctuate Tupper's feelings or thoughts. It ran for six seasons on HBO between July 8, 1990, and March 27, 1996. (Link)
Note: In this day-and-age, such a sitcom would be toppled like statues of ThomasJefferson, GeorgeWashington and/or UlyssesGrant!
