TV Series Suggestion Please

(Kaos and the pub :)). Reminded me of
LoL,
Reminded me of MelBrooks' TV series "Get Smart" with the avant-garde Agent86 and his rotary-dial shoe phone!

As cellphones were becoming an essential tool for the masses, I used to joke around that "I would not own one; until the transmitter located inside my shoe!"
Have not found/owned one yet, since such a 'feature' is/has not been offered. :)

Slow Horses, now in its fourth season. Season two was the weakest, but in general it has been very good.

Decameron. More inspired by than based on Boccaccio's plague anthology of tales. A group of aristocrats gather at a country villa to escape the plague. Black comedy ensues. Great cast of actors not well known in the US, particularly the amazing Tanya Reynolds. It's about class warfare which sometimes becomes literal. The costumes are wonderful too.

We lucked into "The Grand Tour" TV series Finale (S06-single Episode) on Prime.
Very enjoyable!
We have been watching that bunch of misfits (JeremyClarkson, JamesMay, RichardHammond) for decades thru all their shenanigans.:)
At the end of the Finale, Prime starts [automatically] playing another series about JeremyClarkson slowly turning into a farmer, in his 1000-acre farm.
Clarkson's Farm is brilliant tv. I really really didn't like him untl I saw him in that. Amazingly it humanises him - if you'd asked me before I watched it I'd have said that wasn't possible.

Des, a 3 part mini-series on Britbox about a British serial killer from the early '80s. David Tenant plays the killer absolutely flawlessly. It's a true crime dramatization that's very faithful, I looked it up, to what happened. Tenant is not like anything like the characters he played in Doctor Who, Broadchurch, or Good Omens. He plays the killer in a low key matter of fact manner that's absolutely chilling.

I watched that this evening; it was excellent. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

The Penguin premieres Thursday, Sept. 19 at 9/8c on HBO.
The limited series, which has eight episodes, is set to air weekly on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.
It may be worth reading-up on it before deciding to watch it.

"King of Tulsa" 2nd season has started ... lead Sylvester Stallone is old but I like mobster plots.

"The Old Man" 2nd season has started ... lead Jeff Bridges is old but I like deadly action plots.
