Subwoofer suggestions ? I’m in the UK! Upgrading next week!

Hi Guys

I’ve just setup all my new Monitor Audio Bronze speakers, loving them!

I’ve been running a Q Acoustics 3070S as my sub, it’s not crap, but it’s just “so so” I reallly want a better quality bass, but not too much as to upset my neighbours above me!

I live on a ground floor flat, it has carpet and then concrete underneath

someone is coming to buy my QA sub off me tomorow for £140 (which is $180)

I’m after a new sub obviously, budget is £450...

I was toying with getting a BK Electronics XXLS400 FF model, I think Front facing will be less boomy than downward facing? a Monolith of any type by BK would be way too much in my apartment

My sub has to go in the far left corner

Any sub recommendations?
I watch a lot of Music Concert Blu Rays, Rock, Soul, Pop and Funk type stuff... also 2 channel listening to Music CD’s, so it’s main use is 50% music and 50% movies

Any advice would be great, looking for my subwoofer to be in white to match my existing setup, but might have to go with whatever colour comes up ‍ Ideally a 2nd hand sub would be fine, cheaper for me in these financially challenging COVID-19 times
