Just purchased one to compare with AD-18.

I have to say there is no audible difference.

Looking forward to seeing reviews.

I have also a AD-18. It's work fine with my Q Acoustics 2010i (86 dB) but not with my Q Acoustics concept 20 (also 86 dB). Both from Q acoustics but not made with the same technologies.

I have one and really enjoy it

I have one too and am very happy with it. If I was buying now though, I'd probably get the recently reviewed Loxjie (I don't use balanced and it's great value for money) or wait for the new SMSL amp coming that looks like it has similar functionality to the DA-8S, with one big improvement, a much bigger screen. The small screen is my only criticism of the DA-8S.
