revel m16 v polk r200

The current m16 sale has them at under 700/pr which based on info in here is one hell of a deal. I know the polk's at one point was on sale but nothing currently (749.00/pr) so with that said anybody compare these two head to head?? thoughts on either one??

You might as well throw the Elac dbr 62 into the mix unless you already have experience and don't like them..

I was just going to post exact same. Polk R200 ($749) vs. Revel M16 ($347 Crutchfield) vs. ELAC DBR62. Mains in Home theater/Main listening with Denon AVR. Room is 14x16. Decent Sub. Listen at approx. 10 Ft.

I'd try the m16s based on the fact they are on sale...

I was looking to try either the M16s, Polk R200s or Elac DBR62s... to replace a pair of Elac Uni-fis in my 'music transcription system' (it sits by my guitars/amps, with a SVS PB-1000 pro), and just decided after reading this thread to go with M16s (also knowing how well my F208s and M106 sound)
So... who bought the two 'scratch & dent' M16s @Crutchfield today? lol (I had 'em in my cart late last night, but didn't check out - gone this morning) I didn't realize Revels go on sale, and now a bit annoyed at buying at regular prices - a pair of F208s and a M106 earlier this year.
