Hello,

Brief guide on my setup:
- I have an SMSL DO100 DAC which is connected directly into my active monitors using an xlr cable.
- The DAC is connected to my TV with blutooth
- I have an audiotechnica lp120x with has phono/line out.

My current issue is that I cannot connect the DAC XLR out and the TT RCA out into the speakers at the same time. I have done a lot of research and I would like a recommendation on which option would be better:

1. Use a little bear audio switch to switch the speaker input between the XLR out of the DAC and the RCA out of the TT.
2. Use an ADC[2] directly into my DAC.

The benefit of the ADC is that I can use my remote to connect between inputs, but I'm not sure how much the audio will be degraded. Additionally, the ADC is 20$ instead of 80$ for the audio switcher. Would someone be able to recommend what I should do? I do not want to spend more than 100$ on the whole setup.

If there are other better/cheaper audio switcher options available I need the following:
1. XLR in out
2. RCA in

Thanks!

For simplicity sake, I'd give the ADC a try. If Amazon UK works similar to US, you can return it if you're not satisfied with its performance.

Have you tried connecting the TT to the DAC via USB? It shouldn't work, but easy enough to find out yourself. Just keep volume down until you confirm.

Yeah, the USB out on the TT is only for PC-compatible software for ripping vinyls. So my only option for connectivity is as I mentioned above.
