Questions about a old snell system & a elac uf51bk towers & set.

have a chance to buy a snell surround sound system but i don't know if its worth the $480 they are asking only because it is old. Anyway its a snell system with 2. E.5MK2 Tower speakers1. CR5 center & 1. PS10 powered sub. he is asking $480? Theres also a elac UF51bk tower speakers & complete set with everything but the sub. Said he paid 1600 but wants $700. Is either deal worth buying? If its not just a great deal i will buy new. Just ccurious. I was actuallyplanning on buying a set of klipsch RP -280 f & then build from that. I have polk now but there old also.
