New Yamaha Integrateds with VU Meters

The VU meters look nice, but isn't it better to take advantage of using a modern display like Anthem does?

This series is all analog. No DAC, DSP, or LCD. It is more for the vinyl enthusiasts.

Well, I hav an A-S2200 since July and I must say it's abosolutely amazing. The phono input is surprisingly very good (I've moved my phono preamp to the secondary setup as it's unnecessary here). It's not cheap but, compared to the crazy prices of some "HIGH-END brands" (ironic), it's a bargain. And yes, it's an analog amp. Thus, no DAC, no HDMI, no Tosslink nor coaxial, just a (very) good amp with analog inputs (bal and unbal).
