I've been think about adding some eye candy VU meters using one of these TS-VU003 boards:
www.audiophonics.fr
The idea would be to just split a couple RCA outputs on my miniDSP, with one leg going to the amp as normal and the other leg feeding a meter.
I've read a few reviews of speaker-level switchers/meters (which are obviously a different category), but some of the comments have suggested that line-level meters would be more likely to degrade audio.
I can't find any measurements of the driver board, but based on the limited information available does this seem more likely or unlikely to introduce noise into the audio signal?
Also, if anyone has experience with these, I would be grateful to hear about your experience.
Thanks in advance.
