Well…the last time they used a dome mid was in 1990 I think. Genelec 1024B
Also they mention "powerful "
If it was some 5 inch monitor i guess they wouldn't

Also the drivers themselves are completely different than everything they have done before
How would different drivers fix the inherent directivity disaster? The same reason no-one has made a 2-way MTM center channel work. Even the $$$$$ ones.

They could do some directivity steering with 4 midrange drivers at the right positions. Let's wait and see.
What they did with their One's and their latest subwoofer is really clever - looking forward to this addition.

8381…hmm
Pseudo-coax main monitor?
4 mid domes surrounding a wave-guided tweeter? Judging by the screw heads that’s a pretty beefy woofer as well.
The woofer is kinda similar to the S360

Looks like a waveguide in the middle top, could those be some kind of passive radiators

If it is actually the 8381, like the JPEG label indicates, that means it’s part of the “Ones” family…so some sort of coaxial “type” speaker.

8381 is a very good hint, my guess is several upper bass drivers around the coaxial drivers instead of the bass slots of the smaller models to for higher SPL and reduction of distortion due to flow non-linearities at these shown at the smaller models, so a 4-way design.

I made a little mock-up; I'm more inclined to believe that they are some kind of bass ports and a 2/3way, or else they've done a good job with the lighting to make them not look like any standard drivers.
