NAD M10 V3 BluOS STREAMING AMPLIFIER

Diamonds 12.1 speakers and a SVS-SB1000PRO subwoofer like you can see in my signature and in the video. :)

I have had similar desk setups, it helped a lot to raise the speakers from the desk.

Point is the first desk reflection, it will sound better if the speakers are like 20 cm or more above the desk.

The NAD M10 V3 also sounds good with youtube quality. Here is a short sound sample i recorded with my phone in 4K.

Anyone knows if i should use MQA Pass-trough for music listening with Tidal or does it not matter for sound quality? The NAD is connected with optical to a PC 24Bit/192Hz.
At this moment i use A/V mode for synch for watching videos.

Hi,

I've recently purchased NAD M10 V3. My initial impression is good, but I am annoyed by some strange popping sounds when changing tracks e.g. on Tidal - even if it is the same album with all tracks having the same sample rate / bit depth.

Does anyone has the same issue?

I tested this and yes i also hear the popping between songs when streaming from the app on the NAD.

I am always using the NAD as an integrated amp and stream tidal from my pc to the NAD so i dont have this problem. (Optical SPDIF connection)

Thanks. That is interesting. I'm a bit disappointed that such product makes such noises.

I could not find any posts about similar issues with NAD M10 v2 and the original M10. I am wondering if those apps have the same issue, or this is something which can be solved by future software updates.

Is there a NAD forum?

Is it normal the NAD logo is red when re-booting and white when ready?

If someone is interested i pulled these lines out of the logs of the NAD because there is no way to see the bitrate and sample rate on the display.

Optical SPDIF (to my PC)

I needed to change my PC audio settings to get the 24bit/192Khz quality. Dont forget to change this like me. :)

I’ve emailed NAD multiple times asking why there’s no display of bitrate and sample rate information, and their excuse has always been, “not supported by third party.” Does this prove they’ve been dishonest, given that the information clearly exists but they simply choose not to implement it on their displays?

It’s such a shame despite the M10 series having large, beautiful screens, the NAD team either lacks the initiative or the competence to write the necessary code to show sample rate and bitrate information.

At my GF's, I put them at the very front edge of the (super heavy) media cabinet, attached with blue-tack. Works very well, imo.
