NAD M10 V3 BluOS STREAMING AMPLIFIER

Here's inside view of the EVO150SE . Top left corner the board is lettered NCx252MP.

Same power, even if the finals have been improved (I don't know if the same ones as M10)

Change Display, Menu Knob, implementation of the DAC power supply department to improve its performance (but always the same Dac), Software Update, New Remote Control and some other things, this is what the Italian distributor of the brand told me.

Currently I prefer to give up Dirac and take the new Evo150 -:)

Since I'm not in a hurry I'll wait a little longer....... I also really like the new "icon" series by Onkyo and I find an all in one system more useful and manageable!

My NAD connected through HDMI Arc to my LG G5 started constantly switching on by itself after about a couple of minutes after I switch it off. Did anyone experienced this?

).

@Snoopy :
Can your Yamaha control an active Subwoofer? Is the sound always "cold" as Yamaha usually does, or is it a little warmer/musical?

Last question, do you think it is enough to drive speakers like Monitor Audio 89 or Kef R3 Meta?
Thank you very much for your help.

This is my 3rd Yamaha amp (previously a cheap AX396 something and a cheap AVreceiver, now the AS2200).

The AS2200 has no subwoofer out, only Pre-outs and line-outs. You could use the preouts for a subwoofer.
Maybe a streamer could do subwoofer management with Dirac. Didn’t really look into that.

The amp will have no issues with those speakers :) I’m running Wharfedale Super Linton with it and I had to reduce the volume on the XLR inputs by -6db and I have another 6db headroom in roon. And the VU meters barely jump to 10watt when watching loud movies.

I think the Onkyo P80 could be a nice match for various integrated amp with XLR inputs or poweramps.

Hdmi ARC , Roon, Dirac , AKM Dac, phono stage and solid thick case.
And the price is alright. Beats the Bluesound icon in my opinion. That I just a plastic box with MQA stuff.

Everybody into Bluesound / hypex stuff should google a bit and read about psu noise , coil whine type of stuff.

@Snoopy

Thank you very much.

Great product this AS 2200 I think there is still active cashback for a refund of 400 euros.

I combine it with the Wiim Ultra to better control the subwoofer and use the streamer for Tidal and some radio stations.
Thank you very much for the suggestions.

There is a setting on the TV. I think it is one of the CEC settings, it isn't specific to the NAD.

Looks like some bug in NAD’s implementation of CEC. In another identical setup only with Onkyo RZ70 instead of NAD everything works like a charm.
Even with CEC off on LG NAD is constantly waking up.

@aspen63
Hi.
Unfortunately I had the same problems with the Nad C339.

I changed two of them but they still didn't work on HDMI input, mine even removed the audio from the TV and it didn't recognize the port anymore (as if the cable was disconnected) out of desperation I had connected it with optical input!

Subsequently it started making noises like small explosions (Bump) on the speakers, and since then I have not taken Nad anymore.

I thought after some time they had solved all these problems, but unfortunately we are back to the same old story.

Reason why I am evaluating Cambridge or something else.
Best regards.

Anyone tried the Bowers & Wilkins 706 S3 speakers with the NAD M10 V3 or is this a bad combination?

The new bluOS update 4.10.13 removed the small popping noise when changing songs.
Did anyone else noticed this? ( I only stream with Spotify at this moment.)

I also have BluOS 4.10.13 and there is no popping noise anymore when turning on the device or when switching tracks of different sampling rate and bit depth. My device certainly had this problem before.

Yeah for me the small poping noises when changing songs are gone now after the update

So this was a bluOS bug? Maybe NAD can add silent updates also?

BluOS 4.10.14

BluOS 4.10.13

Hello everyone, I can hear noise from close proximity (less than 20 cm) from my KEF R3 tweeter when no music is playing. It is a crackling noise. It is not something that bothers me much, but I wanted to ask if somebody has a similar observation with their NAD m10 v3?
p.s. I couldn't hear any noise with my previous amp even with my ear next to the tweeter.

On all sources with input cables disconnected?

Yes, all sources while all input cables disconnected. I described the noise as crackling, but I would say it is just noise.
I only hear some low static noise when i put my ear on the tweeter. But nothing i can hear when i am 5 inches away from the speaker. (LS50 Meta)
Did you bought the unit new?

Yes, I've bought it new. I cannot hear noise from more than 20 cm distance. I wanted to know if it was only my unit. I do not care much about this noise since it is very low, but having no noise at all would be even better.
