All-new Eversolo play streaming amplifier!

No USB input to connect with a PC ...
Why ? Eversolo DMP-A6 has an USB input.

FYI > The Eversolo Play amp uses a TPA325X chip + PFFB + PFC/LLC PSU.
My guess > 2x60W @8Ω ou 2x110W @4Ω would hide a TPA3251 chipset.

I bought the Eversolo Play, it was received today at my daughter's house in Winter Garden (FL),
I arrive on Friday and I want to see if I can test it. It will be used in an environment here at home.
Where I already have the Evo 150, Winn Ultra, CXN 100. In other environments... But I'm really interested in knowing how it will be evaluated by Armir, when compared to the DMP-A8 which was highly praised by him and also the new DMP-A10... And the Play costs less than half the price.
I bought the version with CD, which from what I've read the Play recognizes the CD showing information on the screen. Because Eversolo, I think they are aware of putting a device for less than half of their DMP-8 which already costs half of the DMP-10, of course there are aesthetic issues and balanced outputs and other game things... What do you think. Has anyone compared it?

Would be interesting to know if it turns on automatically based on let’s say, a HDMI signal is sent ..

I’ve had A6 / A6 Gen 2 and a A8 and for some weird reasons, Eversolo didn’t include this feature ..

Our order delivered just this evening, haven’t had a chance to unpack one yet.

Yes, well if the boxes don’t contain a brick.

I only ordered the non CD version?
I am hoping that will be perfect with the smaller AsciLAB F6B/C6B speakers.

Only wanted the non cd version ..

Excited that this could replace my Wiim Ultra, Teac CD player and Parasound amp but I also wonder how I will feel about the amp quality - the Parasound has me spoiled but all the gear just hogs my desk.

I tried a NAD C700 about 3 or 4 years ago - twice the price of the Eversolo and I returned it because the amp just felt lacking...

That’s my only concern .. not to sure how I would connect it to my Monoblocks as I would want to utilise the Dac in the play..

The appeal of the play is that it's an all-in-one. If you're going to use your own amp, then you're probably better off with a streamer/preamp
